Dog Training

Nationally certified dog trainer, Angel Zebraski, CPDT-KA, has joined the talented staff at the Airport Park ‘N Bark to offer positive training options for your dog!

Angel is certified by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, and a Professional Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. She is also an AKC certified C.G.C (Canine Good Citizen) evaluator for those wishing to pursue other avenues for their dog, such as therapy work.

Being an animal lover all her life, Angel also works with dogs in her spare time as well. She is a certified Emergency Animal Rescue Service volunteer with Red Rover (currently on the cover of their new brochure) as well as being a National Disaster Animal Response Team with the Humane Society of the United States. She has traveled as far as the west coast to assist in the care of dogs rescued from puppy mills, hoarding, dog fighting, and animal cruelty. She also fosters dogs for rescue groups, with a strong fondness to the extremely fearful ones. She is the proud owner of an Educational Assistance dog, which she trained herself, and 3 other dogs. She is Red Cross Pet CPR and first aid certified, and regularly participates in continuing education courses to expand her knowledge and skill.

Angel whole-heartedly believes that the best relationships in life are based on trust, and therefore uses positive training methods, as opposed to force and intimidation. Doing so, you will establish and maintain a relationship with your dog that is based on effective communication, fairness, and mutual trust. Your dog will obey you because he views you as their Leader and trust that you will consistently treat him fairly in a way that he understands.
